I work across research and evaluation, facilitation, writing, and learning and teaching.
I’m particularly interested in projects that begin with a question: something that needs investigating, a group that needs space to think, or an idea that needs to be researched, explored or explained.
Research and evaluation
I can help investigate complex questions, bring together evidence and perspectives, and produce clear findings.
That might include:
- literature, policy and evidence reviews, and academic research
- interviews, surveys and focus groups
- qualitative analysis
- evaluation of programmes, projects or learning
- evidence reviews and briefings
- reports, recommendations and written synthesis
My strongest subject areas include organisational design and workplace culture, technology and digital practice, learning and education, culture and the humanities, neurodivergence and inclusion, and community and public services.

Facilitation and conversation
I facilitate workshops, discussions and reflective spaces that help people think together.
That might mean:
- facilitated workshops
- strategy or reflection sessions
- difficult or complex conversations
- retrospectives and reviews
- group exploration of a question or problem
- retreats and longer reflective gatherings
I’m especially interested in creating psychologically safe spaces where people can contribute honestly, disagree constructively.

Learning and teaching
I teach, design learning and help make complex ideas understandable. I’m comfortable teaching both specialist and general audiences, including both adults and children, and I enjoy adapting material so that it is rigorous without becoming inaccessible.
That might include:
- adult and professional education
- lectures and talks
- workshops and short courses
- learning design
- leadership and organisational learning
- neurodivergence and inclusion training
- community learning
I’m especially comfortable developing learning in areas where I already have subject expertise:
- neurodivergence, autism and inclusive practice
- leadership, management and workplace culture
- organisational learning and development
- digital literacy, online work and technology in practice
- communication, facilitation and reflective practice
- research skills, critical thinking and evaluating evidence
- culture, visual culture and the humanities
- community learning, libraries and public-facing education
But I also enjoy building teaching around a new question when there is a clear brief and opportunity for me to research.
